Since opening its doors on September 3, 2005, Mobius Kids has become a mainstay in the community. The museum averages over 65,000 visitors annually, nearly doubling the annual attendance from its previous location on Post Street. Mobius Kids continues to provide fun, hands-on educational opportunities to its visitors and has become a top-tier children’s museum in Eastern Washington. The name Mobius is derived from a Mobius Strip – a loop of material with a single twist that creates a continuous one-sided plane. This symbol represents the endless possibilities, creativity and sustainability that Mobius Kids encourages.
